Any idea where i can find workshop descriptions and/or paraply editions from easa003? Im especially interested in “Learning by Doing” by Lars Keller..

hello dear people,
this was my first easa, and it will definitely not be my last one!!
thank you everyone!!! despite all the ups and downs, i enjoyed a lot to be part of easa!
on my way back home i was thinking about everything. and i
would like to share a video with you: it is a commercial by a german building-supplies-store (maybe they could sponsor easa at some point???!). in german the title means, ENDLESS HOUSE.
anyways, their movie reminds me very much of the EASA SPIRIT.
i hope we can all learn out of the experience in this easa and maintain the idea, that the founders of easa started.
www.youtube.com
all the best to you!!!
hugs, selma alihodzic.

I understand that this year, the national evening is changed.
I have always enjoyed the national evening, and I find that it is a very important part of easa. What I really enjoy is to see how proud people are when representing their culture. This is where everyone brings a little something they think is a important part of being slovenian, spanish, irish etc.
When we are being told to represent another country, you take away that pride and care for the presentation. Ofcourse one will do their best to represent the chosen country, but it is not a sencere feeling. It is a imitation. And national evening is not about imitating. What is the outcome? When walking around at the national-evening from stand to stand, I will only see what I would find after 5 minutes on wikipedia and google. It is not tiramisu “like mama made it” it is a tiramisu-recipe found on google. That is not identity!
I hope you will reconsider the decision and let people show their pride in their identity and culture, from old to new countries.

Hello everyone!
The Welcome Guide has (finally) been released ten days before you arrive! This will give you all the information you need before you arrive.
It is available on-line here: >http://issuu.com/easa010/docs/welcome_guide<. You can view it online or download it to view at your lesuire.
We have put it online because:
- the cost of printing 500 60-page documents is too high for us
- our mantra is reduce, reuse, recycle. no printing means no damaging inks or waste of paper
- we can link to a whole host of extra information on the web that will be of interest but is too varied to put in one document. Roam around, there are hyperlinks dotted about all over.
We will have a small and concise printed document for you when you arrive, but will not have as much info as this.
Read it, get excited, be prepared for awesomeness.

We’re spending most of our waking hours down at the accommodation right now getting it ready for you all. I’m sure you’re curious, and to let you know of progress and what to expect, we’ve begun uploading photos on Flickr at www.flickr.com.
The accommodation is an abandoned bedding factory on the banks of the river Irwell. Part of it’s a late nineteenth-century mill, and there are modern extensions as well. We’re doing quite a lot to get it safe and (more) comfortable – it’s like a built workshop in itself!
Hope you like it when you get here

Does any one have a film or a transcript of that very charming yet drunk chef who gave a demonstration in Elefsina? Paul and I are laughing about it but cannot remember many of his classic lines, apart from “love is love” and that you can make yoghurt by putting yoghurt in a pot.
thanks

Hello!
My calender informs me we are 25 days away from easa010. The theme for this year’s EASA is Identity and as you know every participant at this year’s assembly wrote (drew or filmed) an essay on the topic. So to get us in the mood for the workshops, lectures and long coffee fueled debates I am going to post one on here every week day until the big kick off in Manchester in 3 1/2 weeks time.
