Dear friends,

We would like to inform you about the upcoming workshop during the next incm008Nicosia.

This workshop is promoted by the Round-Table Conference and organised by architects and sociologists of different nationalities.

The aim of the workshop is to examine and analyse an example of a divided city through the network of EASA people and the cooperation of Turkish-Cypriots and Greek-Cypriots. Nicosia as a divided city was a matter of research in the Biennale of 2006 and will be also in the International upcoming Round-Table Conference.



The tutors of the workshop are :

Events that will reinforce the research of the workshop:

Lectures of architects that participated in the Biennale of Architecture 2006
Exhibition, installation-videos of the participation of Nicosia Biennale of Architecture 2006
Lectures of architects that are working in the master plan* of Nicosia[*program for the urban revitalization of the city],
Presentations of the diploma of students of architecture relevant to the theme of the workshop,
The International Round-Table Conference – ‘’the liminal spaces’’ that will take place in Nicosia on 4th -8th of November
School of architecture [organised by architects, sociologists, artists].
We can participate in this conference on 7th and 8th of November.


The participants of the workshop will get a certificate from the Chambers of the Greek-Cypriots and Turkish-Cypriots Architects of Cyprus.
