students in austria squatting universities

dont know if the news already spread outside austria.

after cutting budget for years now and communicating plans about re-establishing study-fees austrian students squatted austrians main university last week.



universities all over austria followed. climax was a demonstration in the center of vienna with more than 10’000 students (official number – 40’000 inoffical) and other cities in austria yesterday.



universities in germany are starting to follow as well.

infos are spread via facebook, twitter, blogs and live-video-streams like never seen before. newspapers write about ‘revolt 2.0’
