what makes a great school of architecture
what makes a great school of architecture?
i have just started my graduate diploma in ark here in brookes college in oxford in the u.k.
so far i am loving it
what are the factors that make a good school?
- enthusiastic and committed tutors
- enthusiastic students who are on for doing things, who are there because they want to be there
- a varied course structure which has many options to choose from
- an openness to experimentation and exploration into new technology and work techniques
- a place that tries to evolve with the times
- a place that communicates to others outside its own surroundings
these are just a few things. I am trying to encourage you to participate in an open discussion about this, as at present there seems to be not too much to talk about on the EASA weblog. The virtual communication space for the architectural students of Europe.
So hopefully you might add something, what are your views, disagree if you want, just get communicating
Lack of real communication is the main problem in this world today
