brookes, oxford, U.K. -EASA event 1
Hows it going,
Duncan Crowley from Ireland here, Ive just arrived into the architecture diploma at brookes and a few of us are setting up an;
“experimental communication space”
in the crit space on Wednesday evenings @ 6-8pm – first one, 2 days time, wed 23rd of October 2002
it is free and open to everyone
this wed we will communicate, make montages, show a music film, meet new people and what ever else happens
it seems that there is a lot of very interesting people here and a lot of interesting ideas going around,
but so far there does not seem to be much interaction outside the units, or even in the units in some cases. So we are trying to remedy that
so come along on Wednesday, meet some new people, share your opinions about what you think would improve things here
what would make life and college and architecture here at oxford
the most exciting place to be in the world?
Who knows? But by communicating and experimenting we could do some great stuff and learn
The oxford modern art gallery is closed until some time in November, could we make a temporary one, what could we show?
This summer a few thousand architecture students from all over Europe will go to Denmark for a 2 week summer school, hopefully some of you will come along.
I participated in this event lat summer and it was amazing , we turned a derelict building into an art gallery.
There are going to be online worldwide artistic events this year
So get involved and have fun
Personally I am working toward the FUSPEY ideal – FUN – SUSTAINABLE- PEACEFUL – EXISTENCE
You might see me running around college on Wednesday with a tuxedo and an orange wig on
See some of you on Wednesday and do bring some old newspapers, magazines, colours, paints, glue, boards, cameras etc
Most importantly
Have fun
This event is open
to everyone,
not just architects
so invite your friends
