hu, no new posts today – how boring…
so then I’ll just make my own, and start a new topic – “software & www”. Here you could suitably post tips like this one. And if it’s to little to do with EASA then kick my ass. But I think it’d be for the benefit of all of us.
The reason for all of this is that I have resently discovered a
wonderfull little 3d modelling program: wings3d. And I have never learnt a program so fast. It’s amazingly easy and fun to use and …tada… free. You can download it at:
www.wings3d.com – remember to get a user manual as well.
It works for both mac & pc and exports in fx 3dmax
It’s using subdivisions and not boleans. So it doesn’t recognise massive volumes. Only surfaces. So often not so usefull for real architecture. But could be great for sketching and object design.
