Il y en a, mais je suppose que c’est minoritaire. Je me permettrai aussi d’attirer ton attention à la discussion sur l’utilisation de l’anglais et/ou d’autres langues qui a déjà été menée ici et là et autre part je pense.
Personellement j’adore le francais, mais je comprends ceux qui plaident pour que les messages dans ce weblog soient accessibles et compréhensibles à un max de gens. Finallement ce serait bien aussi de permettre les commentaires à ton posting si tu veux avoir des réponse sans obliger les gens à ouvrir de nouveaux threads.

There are some – but I presume it’s a minority. Furthermore I’d like to bring to your attention the discussions about the use of english and/or other languages which took place here and there and elsewhere i think.
Personally I don’t mind talking/writing in French – but I understand those who would like to have the postings in this weblog understood by the largest possible number of people. And lastly, it would be good to allow comments to your posting if you want people to answer it without compelling them to open a new thread.

been a while away from the weblog.. hope everyone is ok and happy.. about easa here, we are going to make a presentation to call new participants. We are thinking of using some images from the pictures in internet of marko, tobi, jelk and gregorie. we also will try to publish the presentation with an article to reach more people. If we can manage that the article will either be totally anonimous or with your names. so that’s my short news from Turkey. inform me if any problem. thanks a lot..

the teacher is maritn treberspurg,
he also wrote some books about this topics.

it focuses on and suggests global regulations to reduce or stop wasting energy (in industrial and residential sense), in its second part the book continues with technical details of passive and zero energy housing primary with the use of solar energy.

This was the hihgly successful exhibition space for the ark dept. there is a need for a noticeboard for the school. There should be 2 way talk about this. See www.easa.antville.org for more details.
Dunk ASA-4th ark


DIT was a very lifeless school of architecture a few years ago. things started to change- more events, more interaction, a healthier spirit.
a result of this was the ASA (architectural students association)initiave to put up an exhibition space along a long, then unused, coridor.
it was a huge success with each week the space being used by a different year, from this further interaction between years and between ark and technology years happened
more of this productive exhibition and communication was intended this year.
at the first ASA meeting a member of staff from technology came in and informed us that we no longer had that space and that instead it was to be used for his year planner for the school. this planner will help things a bit but we feel that it can be positioned in another place in the school, a proper notice board should be constructed. there was also no consultation with us, the students on this issue, we were just told- its gone, we are using it now.
we feel that the keeping of this exhibition space is essential to further allow the spirit of the school to grow.
the start of the year planner went up 2 days ago, as a reaction against this. a note was put up yesterday, it was taken down.
as a furhter reaction i put my first project up- exhibited it and put up a note, stating what is written on top. an emergency meeting has been called for today at lunch time
we hope the students get behind this, see the importance of having this space and indeed that we do keep it.

This is Bhabhi, who is the community leader of the
Kamgar Putala slum who we are rehousing, the project
is currently under construction, we are up to the
plinth beam, she’s sat in the office of Baandhani
which is a womans slum dwellers federation that does
micro-credit saving schemes.

this is the office doorway, being decorated for
Dassera, a festival where you worship the tools,
previously for warriors thanking their weapons for
life. At the front is Sandhya who is a social worker,
who has been at Shelter since the beginning, and
behind is Gita, the acountant, who teaches me Marathi.
They are decorating the floor with coloured salts.
They are both absolute sweethearts.

My favourite building in Kamgar Putala slum, i like
the detailing and composition of the material palette,
it’s very nice inside, very shiny, with lots of
metalware, and some beautiful framed prints of some gods.

FUSPEY-fun-sustainable-peaceful-existence
FUSPEY is a direction to work toward, individually and as a network. Creativity is a very powerful tool for change, we are trying to use art to communicate and to challenge (in a non-violent way)
a revolution in perception

Last night was the first FUSPEY Irish event, it was also an Indymedia public screening. Strangers watched a very important film, Globalisation And The Media


Unfortunately the 35second film of what FUSPEY is about could not be shown, but you can watch it here


Strangers met each other and developed ideas on how to get more people aware of stuff and involved with stuff- ie the INDYnews at one o clock from moore st. in a few weeks time. The previous IMC post How can things develop for Indymedia Ireland? explored other interesting ideas which were discussed last night

More interesting and exciting things can be found at FUSPEY projects

in 1989 150 people had a protest in berlin FOR tolerance understanding and respect between nations, they choose to be creative and had a techno party

10 years later there was 1.5 million (1,500,000) people dancing on the streets of Berlin for the BERLIN LOVE PARADE, and it was brilliant

the main focus of this year for FUSPEY is the event next summer in the French city Lille, 2004 city of culture. We will be part of the EASA network, there will be 500-1000 of us and this network will be 1 of 5 networks working from a derelict building that is being turned into the “cultural machine”.
Last year EASA built an Eco pavilion in the Danish eco village friland which featured on mainstream Danish tv as well as indymedia. Next summer we hope to build a mobile information dissemination vehicle. We will also create lots of interesting events. A Manu Chao global community of sorts is one of the other networks involved with this Lille project

There will be FUSPEY events, films, wanders, talks, workshops, dart parties, exhibitions…. Every week. Anyone can get invovled
Next week we will probably be screening the film BARAKA in DIT bolton st.
Which is simply one of the most beautiful and awe inspiring films you might ever see

I nearly forgot, things ended in a firework party last night. A fine start.

our latin American sister organisation, ELEA. Meets every Sunday for a designated 2 hours in an online chatroom. I have visited them and said hello, Spanish noel was there too.
