after a fabulous week in ljubljana the boredome and louds of work are just killing. those days were a real blast!! thanks to everybody :)

At first, many thanks to organisation team, specially for Spela, Anja, Aleks.I was surprised, that ther’s so vived discussion on this website) It works very well(all topics, comments,…great!) Also I was surprised, that many people in Moscow know about EASA! My prof was one of the organisator of EASA 1991 in Moscow;I know the prof, who was the main organisator of that meeting. So, EASA don’t need very big advertising in Moscow Architectural Institut)))I’m sure, that it’s very easy to find somebody in Ucrain & over lost countries of exUSSR, I’ll tell after about news finded contacts)

after the bombing of the synagogs on saturday there was a second attack today in istanbul. the hsbc bank central building and british consolate were bombed by live bombs, both in very central and crowded places in istanbul. 27 dead, 405 injured so far. news are on tv anyway, and you may know about them from the world televisions or internet already. all I can do maybe is to share experience.
this morning waiting on the bus stop a friend was passing by with a car and took me to the metro station, the entrance in front of the hsbc bank building. a little earlier than I could go with the bus. I took the metro to school, somewhere beside the british consolate. around ten minutes earlier than I was going to be there without my friend. and around ten minutes after the class started we heard the explosions. the ground shaked and a huge cloud rose up to the air. I imagined the sound to be some thunder, though I somehow knew and it was such a beautiful sunny day today. and all dissolved when someone said “these are bad days..” . we watched the reddish brownish clouds from the balcony and listened the alarms of the ambulances. first we were not let out of school not to be live targets and listened to the news let into the design studios from radios, then we went to donate blood but came back becouse too many people wanted to help and were on the queue anyway. I think I never was so close to explode like a ten minute shift. neither other people in school and so who most hang around at the same places.. So was the rest of the day to settle down and we went on with the afternoon lectures and all other events were cancelled.
I don’t know what I feel, but it definitely is not fear. I used to have difficulty understanding, now it looks more clear and more stupid as well. I can see, or guess the reasons of such inhumane acts. I can have guesses on who do it, what kind of brainwashed creature can be a live bomb, what are smaller scale and bigger scale aims behind these kinds of attacts. All I know is none of the reasons I can think of or I’ve been told of are sufficient to be one’s aim, one’s life, one’s fight… they are no reasons to fight and kill for.
we blame and are all against terror.

We’ve got back to Moscow yesterday evening and were absolutely exhausted though the way back was not too long. I wanted to thank Spela, Anya, Alex (special thanx for the first two nights!!!) and other organizers for the work they’ve done. Everything was great! I had a very good week (actually that was more than 10 days we’ve stayed in Ljubljana) and i was really happy to meet you all…now i do hope to see in Robaix next summer.
Also i wanted to thank an italian team for the last night when we and Kosovo guys were staying together in there appartment and having a great time!
And i will do my best to get the new NCs from the lost Azerbaijan and Ukraine. Actually i think i will go there in a while and do the presentations by myself.

for those that couldent go and would like to be kept up to date on issues discussed.

re:erhanzone issue,
my friend i think this problem may be solved if the two parts start a serious negotiation and the both parts agree it is more productive to join together EU.
I think EU should press both parts to have an agreement and forget old problems.
Otherwise peace in Cyprus won’t last too long.
Also it would be wise if Turkey and Greece would be more active and understand to make an agreement.
There are huge costs for the soldiers and equipment in Cyprus , i assume billions of dollars each year for each part.They should call back their soldiers and finance an international peace keeping force.I think this would be the first step and would cost much less.

Dear johannes,
Cyprus is recognized country by UN since 1963. Also Cyprus ll be part of European Union next may. The Cyprus problem occured in 1974 after the peace operation( this is how turkish call), Greeks calls invasion anyway there is a long and boring story. After 1983 in north part the goverment has declared called Turkish Republic Of Northern Cyprus by Turkish but not recognized by any other country except Turkey. The official Cyprus goverment went on in south part. The reson why I obejcted if Sesam offered by Turkey for north part was because of that. This year the border opened by TRNC. I got my official Cyprus passport. I d like to represent my country even I am living in North Part.I have that right. I think, if some kind of easa or sesam wanted to be place there, it should be orgenized by cypriots. Thats why I have been looking for Greek Cypriots who is studying architecture.

Hey,
I am not interested in wasting my time for cyprus problems and conflict.Accually,nobody can understand what I am talking about without living. Anyway if this platform is not the right one to discuss about, could somebody let me know which platform is more appropriate.How is the prosedure to apply to represent a country in EASA?(Cyprus doesnt excist even in lost countries!)

About architecture and easa; I have been working on a workshop proposal for this summer. It ll be interesting ,I think.

i’m lenny,
i have found easa.antville and i need to know which is the main purpose of this forum?
is there a final goal?
let’s say: creating a new political philosophy?
or: creating a cleaner environment by collecting funds or something like Green Peace (well,i know it will be hard to compete with them!)
i’m wondering if this forum can make it this way?
i’m looking for ideas …practical ideas to save the environment because this is a high priority problem in my vision.
