hi everybody.

this topic was just raised in a discussion, far down the screen where not everyone might get ;-) but it’s a matter that concerns all of us, and i’d like you to discuss it or comment on it. it’s about getting discussions started more easily than usual on easa next year. so:

”as we said, one attempt will be a lecture marathon at the beginning, 2 days with 3 lectures each (+/-) and time inbetween for discussion. as i heard during easa from idontrememberwhom, coffee breaks during lectures are a very appreciated mean to fuel discussions.

this starting period will allow people to get into the topic at a time when minds are still fresh and motivation probably there. we’ll try to do our best to get high quality people that can give a real input.”

to complete it, i also want to ask what you think about organized discussions like they have it on elea in south america, people sitting around a table and discussing a certain theme. i must confess that i don’t think this suits the “philosophy” completely, but let me know your opinion about it.

In the 1st of our series, we learn how the skill of angle grinding is demonstrated by architecture students by the far stretches of europe, from italy to sweden, ireland to holland. Of course safety is of paramount importance and on sevearal occasions the complusary safety glasses was replaced with the far more functional and stylish sun glasses. Yes…architects with power tools.

Hi dear easa community

Thanks for two great easa weeks. I had a wonderful time. It’s a remarkable thing, this easa organism, worthy lots of love.

I want to take the chance to invite you easaites to the club event called Clubbinhagen later this week, 19th in Berlin/WMF, 20th in Malmo/Inkonst and 21th in Copenhagen/Stengade 30.

I will perform with a electrodub project called Ekosystemet, a smaller version of Moder Jords Massiva. Other acts is Tikiman, Pole and Bambam Exile Sound among others. A great music experience, guaranteed!

Hola everybody!!!

It’s been 5 days since I’ve arrived in Spain but untill now, I didn’t have the time to leave my message here (working 9 hours per day…agggg).
Any way, I just want to say THANK YOU ALL. It was my first EASA experience and I’m looking forward to repeat it next year (I wish it would be possible).

Duncan, I admire the work you were doing there. Lewis and Adam, those 2 rabbits were delicious!!! and Marko, it was great that “porteño” speaking of you XD.The rest…just keep on being so freak!!!

So, that’s all. I hope we will meet again and will have a larger chat. Maybe next year’s EASA, maybe in a future EASA in Spain (who knows?). At least you will find me here!!

PS: I’m thinking about sharing my pictures and videos in a P2P program….do you use emule?? what do you think about that??

After a long trip, 2 days without sleeping, finally i get home, all the feeling of this easa still remains, thank to all the people of EASA, it was a great experience.

I am an over worked under paid architectural student who recently has experienced a series of harrowing life like hallucinations. My concerns are growing as to their long-term impact, severity and possible ramifications! Let me explain.
I keep waking up in this cold sweat, bitten by all over; as if by bats or mosquitos, and finding myself high off the ground in makeshift dig’s resembling a shantytown, where torturous groans resonate from distant corners. In a vain attempt to escape the apparition I go to shower, only to be confronted by distressing screams of young girls. With that failing, I consider happiness is found through food, but then; as if chained in a working gang I cue to be force fed a branch like wheat stick I hear people cursing as a ‘baguette’. Seeking true evasion I yearn a cup-of-tea, but instead dishwater seems to suffice.
This nightmare has been frequenting me daily now for nearly two weeks. As I drift back to harmony and the doldrums of the morning’s monotony disappear further irregularities to my usual routine begin again. These can only be hallucinations; surely.
Wandering the alleyways and trodden backwaters of the shanty town, dishevelled youths bearing archaic tools, chanting in foreign tongue marching in orange suits appear and disappear, like snow whites dwarfs more appear in grey suits; again with new tongue a staggered walk and gesticulating arms. Trying to turn on to a new path and escape the escalating madness; more come with greater surprises, bridges appear from nowhere going from nowhere to nowhere. As the creak of metal resonates the shantytown metamorphoses and like wood worms chewing through a rotten tree people run from corner to corner, some making noise others carrying noise, the cursing and thrown arms skywards increasingly apparent as if these bodies, like me are possessed. Again these hallucinations become monotony. Daily at the same time I find myself ushered into a room full of people, with a man in black preaching to us who I hear people calling; ‘The Architect’. As these echoing daily services go on I try to question what IS going on. Then I find not even my words are understood, a vagrant offers to translate my English to English and some how all becomes clear; ‘The Architect’ his congregation and combatants all ‘nod’ and ‘tut’, I am none the wiser and melt down trying to disappear and escape the madness.
Please if you are or have experienced the same prolific thoughts let me know. We might be able to work it out together.

Easa is in my veins. I’ve been coughing like a maniac ever since I got home, 10 days of antibiotics already on the way….I guess it is the punishment for leaving early.

hi folks,
quite an adventure to get home…

after johannes gave me a lift to the airport in brussels i was really looking forward to board after spending hours waiting. i felt truly relieved after take-off.
just this annoying cat-owner behaving like ms. princess herself was a pain in the … suddenly she was running the aisle up and down, amusing everybody. yes! she was chaising her stupid cat (what a clever idea to take her out of the box – god damn stupid you!)
the cat was not as stupid as her owner and decided to hide in the cockpit somewhere inbetween the cables, where nobody could find her…

just a few seconds later the capatin had to announce “dear passengers, due to a cat hiding in our electronics we wont make it to vienna. we are forced to turn over and get back to brussels!”
oooooHHHH my gosh! *grrrrr* :-@

we got back to brussels (in half of the time we needed before), dumped some 100l of kerosene somewhere in germany and had a smooth landing escorted by some 12 fire trucks, ambulance, police etc. on a remote spot at the airport.

finally we got another aircraft and took off again about another hour later – total delay of about 3h…

here some pics (those i had not to delete because some strange man in black wanted me to erase all pictures he had been on…. very strange world)…
