A bit late (about a month). But you will still want to know this. Easa and Exyzt have been published in the International magazine Volume. The whole issue is about collabarating and working together. Marijke Ouwerkerk has writen a nice small article about easa and the easa spirit. And I wrote in collabaration with Philippe Rizzotti (exyzt) a little something about their project on easa2004.

This is a great opportunity to say hi to everyone and check how the network is really working.. ;)

I need to find an example of a recently built (5-7 years old maybe..) city hotel (peferably a good one :), but my web search ends up only with enterior and exterior photographs and a short text about the building.
Does anyone know if there is a website where I can actually find some floor plans and sections..?
I’ll be really really grateful if you can help me..

Hi all from istanbul\Turkey..
Just found this site as I was googling for some architectural colleges for summer short courses, I really don’t know anything about colleges over europe maybe some of you have ideas to share. Here in istanbul we are just racing to take our diplomas but I think we are just missing some important parts. So I decided to apply for a short course in Europe maybe in UK or in Italy. Just want to see the approach and maybe learn some new things for not living as a architect for being an architect. I think this is really important in many ways. Maybe some of you share the same ideas with me and if someone can help me for a good selection its really appreciated..

hallooouu people,…havent visited the blog for some time,..was busy. Travelling and working on smthng and for the school+my pc was sick,.. Back in the game now
Issue1::, been in florence:italy on an international workshop for 7days, was nice and interesting, and the city is really amaaaaaaazing,…but ofcourse the workshop/feeling/moving/vibe/people were not so much as easa is,., i think i may be addicted to easa spirit ,..:)
Its organized by fondation delbianco, and thair main goal is to bring young students from all over the europe/world to meet, work,..integrate no metter the religion, cultural, color , political and other differences.,,. Noble and nice idea, aint it? There were students from romania, ukraine, kosovo, croatia and serbian universites and we worked in mixed groups. The work will be soon on the net i guess, but you can see some pre-wkshp stuff we had to do posters for. As it is not so serious, and is more about integration i think the work got out pretty good for 4 day wkshp,… www.fondazione-delbianco.org
And normally i spread some easa informations, Spreading the network!!!!,..people were really interested,….so dear kosovo, romania, ukraine and serbian NC’s you can expect some contacts from your school,city or country students,…nice and talented people among them there are,….

p.s.you will notice that 75%of the participants were girls/lucky me/, so no gender issue there! happy ?? ;)

Issue2::i sent the mail to johannes and marko about changing nc list for croatia and puting iva and me instead damir and ivona on the NC list,..it hasnt been done yet, so please people who know who can help me and change that,..inform me ..:)!!!!

Issue3::I cant seem to find the brighton post thing word on the blog, the minutes and stuff, so has it been done?, cause i was being polite as the boss lewis said and didnt comment although there were so many /nice/ things to say,..is it happening? Are you alive and well lewis? 

Issue4::cro team is ok, working and surviving, we contacted our preNC’s and we will finish the cro2002 final report done by budapest, we are also thinking of proposing incm2007 in croatia,..so prepare for smashing presentation and programme :) this is exclusive information!! ,…. and must say that are so happy to have a danish own Rune Nc coming to zagreb to work on his diploma,..:) looking forward to it,..
Issue5::last but not the least….we uploaded the BRIGHTON photos finally..

Hello to mainly the Danes.
New York is good to me, but its time to go home and get on with that education they all talk about. Ill move to Copenhagen on February 1st.
If anyone knows about an empty appartment during next semester, Ill be very interested.

calling all computer wizards!
im having serious problems with my sketch-up program: all of a sudden when i try to zoom or move closer and around in the model, lines and objects that are closer to the “camera”, e.i me, become half, or disappear and the picture is incomlete. And they dont show up in a render either. any ideas on what im doing wrong? would be increeeeedibly thankful, have a job-deadline…!

at the moment im working on redesigning a pedestrianstreet in istanbul in coorporation with the city municipality. istanbul is in urgent need of some breathing space for its inhabitants. starting in the very historical center this is meant to be a katalysator for further humanscaled development of a “greener” network of public spaces in this car-oriented metropole.
if you have any favorite projects on the subject of pedestrianspaces, id like to ask you to post your inspirational links/pics from any place, here.

Hi, both Matt and I study at the University of Manchester. We have just found out that we are to be doing a kind of exchange programme with the Barcelona school of architecture.
We are due out in sunny Spain for a week, beginning 6th February (but will undoubtedly get there a few days in advance, as the 5th is my Birthday, and I don’t fancy spending it travelling), with the return leg in the first week of May.
Just to be clear, this really isn’t officially anything to do with EASA, but we thought if there were any NCs or representatives at the Barcelona school it would be a rather nice opportunity to meet up, and maybe we could pick your brains on good sites to visit over a coffee(and bars for because although I don’t want to be travelling I would like to celebrate my 24th!)
