as the echo to this thing has been so great whenever i have passed by with anyone who had an idea about architecture, i think it’s time to publish it. besides that, i need a break from website work :-)

it is even linked to easa as it was supposed to be next to the first meeting point – which finally became the eth gym, so it was far away…

let’s look at it as a good example how to deal with the task of installing a park in a former industrial area with completely spoilt ground that cannot be changed completely.

this a3-thing is really cool, and to make it compulsory for the application is the only way it works to get the stuff. great! i remind you, we weren’t wmart enough and got only 70 last year…

besides that, in one hour and 17 minutes, the first half of the exhibition files will be online on www.easa005.ch.

the rest is still rather incomplete, but i’m working on it. so for the moment, there is a couple of things announced on the starting page that is not there yet – basically everything actually. but till tomorrow, it should work out somehow. just need to sleep again tonight :-)

so i suggest that all the (interested) nc’s start browsing through the things as soon as the upload is complete, and then let’s find out if we can get organised with the continental exhibition. let’s start discussing in comments to this story.

hi ncs,

we received many questions about the portfolio.i try to collect the answers in this mail (i sent it also in email).

1. the a/3 portfolio is a part of application and not the part of selecting participants.

2. we hold by this portfolio so we won’t accept the application form without it.

3. details of the content is available under faq menu.

4. the aim of it (but i think you can tell it also if
you think it not like a duty):

- a two weeks exhibition, which helps to come to know one another
- a chance for every participants to show up in final report with their
own (!) work.

5. about the form requirements: 1 piece A/3 printable pdf file, max. 2.5 Mbyte (everybody can achieve it through 1 or 2 hours). our formula is only to show the editing.

6. till 1st of may we generate in our website a menu under application, where all of the ncs can upload the documents (password needed).

7. every participants should make his/her own portfolio (also ncs:)

i hope everything became clear with portfolio. if it didn’t, please ask me.

hello people,
the easa006 organising team start to manage a more continuously communication about the meeting now:)

main tool of it is the nc email list.today i sent to all of the ncs the last version that we have (if you didn’t receive it please download it from our website).if you see that some datas are wrong in the list please correct them with writing an email to organiser(at)easa006(dot)hu.on sunday we will upload the newest one.

today we activated application(at)easa006(dot)hu.

if you have any question about the details of the organization, don’t hesitate to ask it.the general questions and of course the answers will be visualised under the ‘faq’ option of easa(dot)hu.

tutorpack2.0 is almost ready.we can publish it and the application poster at the weekend.

this boat experience is not so easy.organising the accomodation eats up a lot of power from us.anyway we will get it:)

the website update is supposed to be finished on thursday morning. from that moment, you can choose the posters and start printing.

same thing for the final report, it will be online then. sorry to everyone in hungary waiting for data, but i can’t do any faster, the semester is running again…

after 6 weeks of working on the exhibiton we made it!!!

one hour ago the exhibition of easa005 has been opened. about 150 people came, listened to the introduction of kees christiaanse and of course flo and had a few glasses of wine and bündner nusstorte on our success.

now it ist going to be there, in this very prominant place at eth, for 2 weeks. let’s hope somebody is looking at it when there is no wine!

nice to see and hear all of you people loging and bloging a lot again,..,..
flo and the ch team ++++ great job ++++
really like the idea with the moving exhibition, especially this part with countries working together.. we will try to get some money from our school to print the posters, but if there is 25 of them,..damn, its doo much,.. but hope we will manage,../how big the posters should be??the print out size/ will let you know how the thing goes, so if we do it we could than pass it on to tine & jera in slovenia, or to the serbian, bosnian, austrian or italian teams./and hopefully bring it to aarhus in june** rune, you like the idea??/ and it really wouldnt be bad if we could move along with the expo, visiting the cityes and easa friends,spreading the spirit,..,.he he..
also it would be nice to show the stuff to the youngsters on our university before the election of the participants, so that thay are aware the HUGENESS/i know its not a word/ of the event. as i had some problems with receving the e+mails friom hungarian organisers i have a question?? when is the line for sending the exact names of participants, not only the number of people,..
and one more thing! people from the countries that are organising internal participants competitions; what will be your subject for it? cause me ana and iva will meet these days to decide on the theme, so any sugestions are very very welcome!

in time for the exhibition, there will be the preliminary report where only the exhibition part is missing. it’s absolutely huge.

besides that, daniel and lukas are working on a dvd with a nice booklet as a final report covering the good part only. we’ll see how many we can bring to budapest, it’s still depending on finances.

the trans is being worked out, people who ordered i will need to be patient, but you can count on it.

wow, i’m turning crazy here, but the chance that it will all soon be over is the light at the end of the tunnel :-D

next monday, 03.03., it will be put up on eth in zurich: the big easa005.ch exhibition, right in time for great hungarian competition advertisement and to find new participants for easa006.hu!

i count on you all organising exhibition space as soon as possible. you will be able to download the posters of your choice from the website. the only condition for publishing the exhibition at your school is to send us pictures of the setup. in difficult cases, we might have some funds for printing costs. no warranty!

unfortunately, the work overload made it completely impossible to organise the thing with all of you in a way that we could have it at the same time. if someone is really flexible, maybe you can join up at the second week, maybe you have an empty exhibition space at your school?

anyway, i will try to get the about 45 posters online as soon as possible, together with pictures of the exhibition for you to get an impression of what it looks like here. i’ll keep you updated!

I’m Anton, Danish EASA-dinosaur who is thinking of making a comeback as tutor this summer with some friends.

Does anybody have any information about the practical stuff around workshops this year? Is there a hungarian EASA 2006 website? How far are the hungarians in their planning?

i think we need some help from easa dutchia…
a nice friend called cem is going to be in delft tonight. he has been seen in vis, some years ago in easa site, maybe some will remember…
he is looking for a place to stay for a few days and asked me for help. Is there anyone available these few coming days or can you reccomend him some place? I’ll get the news from here and deliver him..
