I read in Serbian architecture/design magazine “Ambijenti” about this whole thing, easa and gatherings, so I am new to the subject. I live in Montenegro, and I am student of Architectural University in Podgorica, third year.
I tried to find contact person for my country and it’s blank. What should I do?
I am also willing to become this person, or if I can’t to find someone that can. If someone can explain what to do, it would be great.

To all NC’s and others:
As we already said, inspired by last year success of INCM Moscow schools of architecture exhibition, and hard work of all the people hosting it after Moscow, plus the impact it had and has for promotion of Easa we decided to make it annual. At least we’ll try by making it again this year.
We got funding, especially for exhibition, from Croatian Chambers of Architects, and of course to our sponsors and teachers it’s really interesting. Also we think that, because it’s gonna be connected to the easa008 theme, it can be a great promotion for theme, as among NC’s who will, by making the poster get more aware and interested to it, also to future visitors of exhibition (possibly new easa people) in all countries that will possibly host it, and we know there’s gonna be a lot interested.

So what we want from you is:

on the A1 file we’ll send, we’d like you to make a poster of students or diploma projects connected to ADAPTATION.
So any mean of adaptation, in programmatic, structural, physical or territorial etc. aspect…
Just browse through the works of your colleges, yours, or, if you can, ask the teachers in your school to suggest some good diploma or student projects that are connected to this theme. We think adaptation is nowadays, very much present in lot of architectural and urbanistic projects so you want have any problems doing it. And it will again give interesting intersection of work of european architectural schools.
Read the booklet that irish organizers gave us in Elefsina, and get inspired.

If you have any question just ask!

Also, as from some countries there are more than one school coming to EASA and INCM, than, of course, every school should have their own poster.

I hope all is clear, and you will manage to do it.

deadline for posters is 07.10.2007., so you have 3 weeks, which is, i guess, more than enough.

Make your school, yourselves and your colleges proud :) and give your view of adaptation, so we give good theme reviews to irish crew and ourselves on INCM Motovun.

To all the NC’s not attending this years INCM: it doesn’t mean you don’t have to make the poster, you are very very very welcome (so we can at least have you there in spirit :>)

And also, to all new NC’s please ask your older NC’s to help you, if they are more aware and connected to older students, or are just soooooo clever that their wisdom and knowledge will help you to make this poster as good as it can be!

poster can feature: 3d’s, models, plans, sections, pictures, or whatever you think can show the projects or projects you wanna present. also, it can be one, two or more projects.
poster should also feature short description of the projects: who made it, what is the function, location and other…

A group from my work are going on a study tour to Milano and my dear collegue Gry is responsible for finding examples of exiting new pieces of architecure to see.

Mainly buildings but certainly also larger scale urban development.

it’s so hard to knock easa007 out of my head in order to fill in exam-relevant stuff… once umbrella asked for websites we often have a look at. and once umbrella told us that statistically 3 quaters of easians care about climate change. here are two videos i think are pretty inspiring concerning the possibilities/future of our profession and it’s affect to the world. two cool approaches (that let you forget the designy-arty-design designs of hadids/herzogs&co for a while)

hello guys,
i wanted to reassure everybody has the ship sign on his Tshirt that I handwashed my Tshirt( my mother did it on exactly) and it’s all OK!
congratulATION to KATà for the great idea, I think that’s the real logo of easa007; i often proudly wear my tshirt and it’s very funny to be asked what’s that, because i can speak about my great experience in easa.

Beautiful people,

Even though it seems i was in elefsina yesterday, work has started here in istanbul again since a long time.. That, in combination with the sun doing overtime and the bosphorus evaporating in the air, is lethal.

We started doing a competition on courtyard housing (around 15 units on 1500m2) in the U S of A, close to the east coast, where winters are mild and summers hot and concentrated showers in between. So im doing a little looking up for that. Rather than just sharing this weather report, i would like to ask if you know some excellent courtyard housing projects, maybe some interesting ideas you would like to share. Whatever comes to mind.

Hej EASA people,

First of all a very huge thank you to all of the Greek organizers, you made an exceptional experience for all of us! (I’m still recovering from the shock of realising how much sweat your body can produce only from just laying down!) No, but seriously, everyone worked very hard and it was very inspiring and a very beautiful EASA!

Unfortunately I was both tutor and NC and didn’t quiet have time to go to all NC meetings, therefore I didn’t have time to tell you that Sweden is getting new NC’s. There will be 2 new fresh people (Frida and Sara -yes same name, different girl) taking over. I probably wont see you in an EASA context anymore but anyway hope to see all of you somehow somewhere out there.

And if any of you pass by Barcelona during this year and need a guide or a place to stay, email!
